Answer: A: Benfica football club in 1962, when he left as manager.
Notes: *: After winning the 1962 European Cup Final against Real Madrid, Guttmann reportedly approached the Benfica board of directors and asked for a modest pay rise. They refused. He said as he left "[n]ot in a hundred years from now will Benfica ever be European champions again." As of 2022, while they've reached the finals 8 times, they've yet to win (twice lost on penalties.) The Uner-19's won theirs in 2022.
